Officials say four people were wounded after a Southwest Aircraft encountered turbulence over Utah on Friday.
Three flight attendants and a passenger were treated for minor injuries after Southwest Airlines flight 1753 landed safely at Salt Lake City International Airport, according to a statement.
The airline stated that the afternoon flight had left from Chicago Midway International Airport.
“When the aircraft encountered turbulence, the fasten seat belt signage was lit,” Southwest stated.
The disruption was classified as “moderate turbulence” by the airline.
