LOS ANGELES — Authorities say a passenger was transported to the hospital after jumping off of a moving plane at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday night.
Authorities said the man was apprehended on the taxiway, treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and brought to the hospital.
There were no other passengers or crew members on board who were hurt.
The FBI is looking into it, according to Laura Eimiller, a spokesperson for the bureau.
It was the second time in two days that LAX had been disrupted. A motorist crashed through a chain-link fence at a FedEx cargo facility on Thursday and onto the airfield, straddling runways as police pursued the vehicle. The motorist was apprehended, and no injuries were recorded, according to police. Two runways were temporarily shut down.
