“Hawkeye,” Marvel Studios’ latest Disney+ adventure, has gotten its first look.
The clip depicts Clint Barton, played by Jeremy Renner, still grappling with his escapades from “Avengers: Endgame.” After Thanos “snapped” his family, he went on a vengeance spree as Ronin, a hooded vigilante.
However, as Barton adjusts to life outside of the suit, Ronin reappears. To discover Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, he follows down the sword-wielding archer in his disguise, and he quickly takes her under his wing.
She claims, “Some people have really named me the world’s finest archer.”
He and Bishop are on the run in New York City as he attempts to juggle his family life (the Bartons have tickets to the Captain America musical “ROGERS”). Joe Russo’s daughter, Ava Russo, reprises her role as his daughter Lila in “Endgame.”
“I created a lot of enemies when I wore that outfit,” Barton cautions. And, as the trailer indicates, there will be plenty of opponents.
Both archers imitate Hawkeye’s reverse mid-air shooting as shown in Marvel Comics and “The Avengers,” and the trailer ends with both archers copying Hawkeye’s backward mid-air firing as seen in the pages of Marvel Comics and “The Avengers.”
Vera Farmiga and Florence Pugh feature in the program, with the latter returning her “Black Widow” role Yelena. On November 24, it will be available on Disney+.
