According to police, a Los Angeles Police Department jet made an emergency landing on a busy California roadway on Monday without crashing or harming anybody.
According to Aaron Figueroa, A dispatcher with the California Highway Patrol, the plane landed on U.S. 101 about 35 miles north of Los Angeles soon before 7 p.m. local time.
According to him, just the pilot was on board, and no one was hurt.
The reason for the plane’s emergency landing was unknown. A request for comment from the Los Angeles Police Department was not immediately returned.
The jet could be seen traveling on a major roadway surrounded by automobiles in a video released on social media that purported to catch the occurrence. It was also seen on the side of the road in another shot.
